Skyline Studios was set up in Epsom back in 1994 by producer/engineer Jez Larder who has worked on tracks by David Bowie, Simply Red, Estelle and more recently One Eskimo, Amy Macdonald and The Damned.
With over 29 years of music industry experience coupled with our excellent equipment we can get you that sound you crave and need for your recordings. Don't settle for anything other than top quailty recordings.
We have studios in Woking Surrey and Darwen Lancashire. For the equipment specification in each studio please see the studios page.
The studios can cater for anything from a simple acoustic recording to bands with live drums.
As well as the traditional studio based mixing and mastering sessions with the client present we also offer what is called "offline" mixing and mastering. You can book in a day to record with and spend the full session recording. The engineer will then mix for you after the session, send you regular review mixes via Dropbox. You can then request tweaks and changes until you're happy with the mix. There is almost no limit to the amount of changes you can make as you are not constrained by the time limits of being in a studio; one flat fee is payable that covers all the mixing and mastering time.
You can arrange for offline mixing with your engineer on the day or when making your booking.
Our engineers are accomplished producers & writers so have the ability to bring your music to life in ways you may not have thought possible.
Generally, production & writing quotes are providing in advance of booking in. An all-in price will be quoted which will cover recording time, mixing time, production, session musician (if needed) and mastering

THE STUDIOS
Skyline is run by experienced engineers with over 28 years of real industry experience which is vital in helping shape your recordings and getting the sound you need to further your music career.
The studios provide bands with amazingly affordable, professional recording, mixing, mastering and production services, that label sound without that label price. Don't settle for anything less than experienced engineers with REAL music industry track record.
The studio & engineers work with many agencies, labels and production companies, but have a special focus & passion on unsigned artists & bands & offer discounted rates for these.
Our standard rate is £200 per day 10-5pm weekdays or £215 weekends 10-5pm for unsigned artists but there are deals available for bigger projects and block bookings.

Please note we require a £50 non refundable deposit to secure each session which is deducted from the total cost once completed. This is to cover us from last minute cancellations. We do not take deposits over the phone, they are invoiced via email.
